Objective

In 2021, the worldwide population was approximately 8B, and it is expected to grow at >1% annually. Over the past 70 years, the agriculture industry has made significant efforts to increase livestock production and improve food security, but the results are neither sustainable nor sufficient for current food needs. Aviwell has developed innovative Direct Fed Microbials (DFM) with the ability to control livestock body weight and energy metabolism, targeting specific phenotypes with greater efficiency and efficacy. These DFMs are diverse, native, natural and are only fed as a single dose in the early life of the animal. Also, Aviwell has created a new-concept hybrid AI-based Discovery Platform that quickly and efficiently identifies powerful multi-strain bacterial consortia networks; constantly improving and extending our DFM product portfolio. Aviwell needs the EIC funds for the completion and the optimization of both the platform and DFM products, and its market-approval and entry.
