Objective

Paptic Foam is a new material for flexible packaging, combining the sustainability of paper, versatility of plastics and haptics of textiles. Our material is compatible with the production processes of the respective flexible packaging value chain thus can be easily introduced in processing. The unique haptic properties also enable consumers to differentiate the products, improving efficiency of sustainability communication of end-users/brand owners.Paptic already has developed and piloted the foam technology to produce renewable, recyclable and reusable wood-fibre based material that is over 50% more resource efficient compared to paper. Paptic’s patented material technology has vast application opportunities in various flexible packaging market segments like dry and frozen food packaging, electronics, hygienic products, toys, etc. Our technology enables resource efficient manufacturing and higher product performance, enabling position of most sustainable alternative to plastics.
