Objective
To date, we have developed Tanso, an AI-powered automated carbon accounting software that enables industrial companies to calculate and report their carbon emissions accurately and efficiently. Our ISO14064 and GHG Protocol compatible CCF calculation uses available primary data mapped with our 13k emission factor database, completing it through a supply chain model of industrial averages. We have a unique data foundation to break down corporate emissions onto product level and have developed a user-centric statistical allocation model where users can set up an interpretable digital twin of production processes and allocate the right emissions per product line. Our goal is to achieve standard-compliant PCF estimations at scale. Through the probabilistic approach, we provide transparency on data quality, incentivizing companies to improve primary data sources and initiate effective carbon reduction initiatives, and providing reliable information to stakeholders.
