Objective

NEWPhotonics is a fabless chip startup that provides an end-to-end optical connectivity for the current and next generation of hyperscale data center networks. Est. in 2020, NEWPhotonics solves an acute problem in hyperscale data centers – the growing energy consumption and capacity. Our solution is a highly efficient, all-optic chip architecture that improves the power-hungry and costly DSP chips in optical transceivers and core-switchesNEWPhotonics has filed 5 patents: The all optical processing architecture achieves superior speed, efficiency, robustness and cost advantages. A breakthrough non-invasive device for calibration and monitoring of integrated photonics circuits that is the enabler of implementation of complex photonic systems and results in higher reliability and durability. Our proprietary all-optical buffer and management for data package congestion mitigation in photonic switch networks ensures high throughput, scalability and reliability for hyperscale data centers.
