Objective

CYTO365 is developing RondeO® - a revolutionary medical stopcock to be used with intravenous drug administration sets (IV sets). RondelO® is the first medical device that allows for a sequential intravenous administration of up to 6 drugs with the neutral saline in between the drugs. RondelO® aids the nurse to administer drugs to the patient safely and correctly, by letting only one drug pass at a time. It solves the problem of serious side effects caused by drug incompatibility by eliminating human error and unwanted parallel infusion and thereby increases patient safety. Moreover, RondelO® is easy to use (minimal training required), safe for the user (Closed System Valve (CSV) minimizes hazardous drug expose for the nurse), customizable (different configurations with 2, 4 or 6 drug inlets with or without CSV available) and time-efficient (all drugs are connected to IV set at the beginning of the procedure).
