Objective
Osavul is a Ukrainian company building JANUS, an AI-native multi-domain situational-awareness platform that enables governments and critical infrastructure operators to anticipate hybrid threats before they materialise. Founded in 2022 in response to Russia’s full-scale invasion, Osavul has developed advanced intelligence systems (Nebula, Echo) that process 500M signals per month and are used by critical Ukrainian and EU institutions. JANUS extends this capability by fusing OSINT, cyber telemetry, and behavioural indicators into an explainable reasoning engine that operates fully on-premises for maximum security.Europe now faces a multi-domain threat environment driven by state and state-affiliated actors combining cognitive, cyber, and physical tactics, often first tested against Ukraine. Existing SOC and CTI tools are fragmented, reactive, and overloaded with noise, offering limited ability to interpret early adversarial intent. JANUS closes this gap by shifting from detection to prediction: multi-agent AI correlates signals across domains to generate falsifiable hypotheses on opportunity, intent, and capability, providing preventive, evidence-grounded intelligence. The system integrates analytical patterns shaped in Ukraine’s high-intensity hybrid-threat environment, delivering early-warning capabilities proven under real operational pressure.The addressable market spans the rapidly growing European hybrid-threat intelligence sector, estimated at €25B by 2030. Currently at TRL 5, Osavul seeks EIC Support for Ukrainian Tech SMEs & Startups to raise JANUS to TRL 7, validate it in operational environments through two on-prem pilots, and strengthen business and investment readiness. The project will be delivered by an experienced team with the technical and operational skills needed for successful implementation. JANUS deployments will reinforce Ukraine’s resilience, strengthen EU technological sovereignty, generate high-skill jobs and tax revenues in Ukraine.
