Objective
Industrial emissions monitoring in harsh environments remains a critical challenge. Existing analyzers fail to provide simultaneous, accurate measurement of dust, moisture, and multiple gases in wet, explosive atmospheres, limiting compliance with EU regulations (ATEX 2014/34/EU, Industrial Emissions Directive 2010/75/EU). This gap hinders process optimization, increases operational costs, and risks overpayment of emission fees by 20-30%. Marvilon addresses this urgent need with the MARV2EX, an innovative all-in-one optical analyzer featuring a patented five-zone optical cell architecture. This system uniquely integrates simultaneous, continuous measurement of dust, moisture, and gas components within a single, compact, explosion-proof device designed for high-temperature, high-pressure industrial gases without dilution or filtration. Modular sensor design allows flexible adaptation to various industrial needs, enhancing reliability and reducing maintenance. This technology will enable real-time, certified emission monitoring where no such integrated solution currently exists. The project’s impact will include direct reduction of air pollution-related health risks by supporting enforcement of stringent EU environmental policies, potentially saving billions in healthcare and productivity losses. Economically, Marvilon will significantly lower capital and operational costs by replacing multiple analyzers with one device, improving uptime, and cutting maintenance. This innovation will foster safer workplaces, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and support digitalization and sustainability in heavy industry sectors. Marvilon will also contribute positively to EU strategic objectives. It will support the Green Deal and Zero Pollution Action Plan, driving investment in clean technologies. Through certification, pilot deployments, and market validation, Marvilon will pave the way for broad adoption of next-generation industrial emissions monitoring across Europe and beyond
