Objective

The exponential growth of AI has pushed supercomputing to its limits. However, Moore’s Law is dead, and copper interconnects have reached fundamental physical reach/bandwidth/efficiency barriers, creating a bottleneck for next-gen processors. This threatens Europe’s digital sovereignty & AI competitiveness. NcodiN's breakthrough solution leverages the world's smallest laser on silicon—500x smaller than industry standards—to shatter these limits via optical interconnects delivering >30x bandwidth density, >25x reach, & >100x energy efficiency. Our proprietary nanolasers enable unlimited scaling towards wafer-scale Networks-on-Chip supporting hundreds of chiplets. Building on 15+ years of European nanophotonics research, we require EIC support to bridge the gap to industrialization & address this multi-billion-€ market. NcodiN will establish Europe as the global leader in post-Moore computing and enable zettascale supercomputers for climate modeling, autonomous systems, & AI dominance.
