Objective

The manufacturing process is evolving to meet demands for adaptability and efficiency, but challenges in design and assemblypersist. Decentralized systems like PDM, PLM, and ERP scatter essential data, causing errors and delays, increasing production costs by 20%, and consuming up to 50% of production time. Moreover, the lack of integration between design and manufacturing leads toinefficiencies, with assembly insights rarely influencing the design phase, contributing to 30-50% of employee costs. Current tools likeDWI and CAP fall short in addressing these issues, leading to outdated instructions and fragmented information, which exacerbateinefficiencies.At Assemblio, we are addressing these gaps with our AI-APOA (Assembly Planning and Optimisation Agent), a digital twin of thedesign process that integrates data from systems like CAD, PDM, PLM, and ERP into a unified framework. AI-APOA combines the D-BOM, E-BOM, and M-BOM, allowing real-time modifications and seamless feedback between design and manufacturing. This systemgenerates interactive 3D assembly instructions, reducing errors and speeding up production , with a reduction inassembly sequencing mistakes.AI-APOA also enhances product life-cycle management by tracking detailed data for recycling and resource recovery.Through AI-driven design capabilities, AI-APOA improves product design efficiency, offering time savings in assemblyplanning and cost savings. Additionally, it reduces employee training time and automates documentation, eliminating manual errors.
