Objective
In a world growing noisier by the day, traditional acoustic materials are falling behind. The roar of engines, machinery, and urban life has industries struggling to keep up with stricter noise regulations and outdated, bulky solutions. The traditional thick, heavy materials are no match for low-frequency noise from cars, planes, and industrial equipment, and as noise pollution escalates, its harmful effects are being felt more than ever—causing sleep disruption, stress, and even heart issues for 100 million EU residents.SoundBounce is a game-changing, smart acoustic material developed by Lios. Designed to meet the demands of today’s world, natural, non-toxic, and cost-effective. Offering unprecedented advantages over traditional acoustic solutions. With up to 4x more effective noise reduction in 4x less space, this revolutionary material is 40% lighter and 4 times thinner. It's not just efficient—it's versatile, and can be customised for industries ranging from construction and automotive to aerospace and home appliances. For sectors like construction, SoundBounce is a game changer, increasing usable pace and reducing CO2 emissions by 80%. Lios is the next leader in advanced acoustic materials. Building on a decade of research and development, market demand has been validated.During Project MUSE, pilot production will launch the first products on the market containing SoundBounce and a world-first product design simulation tool will be built.
