Objective
Following our first successful results obtained during the ERC Synergy grant, wepropose to develop a novel software (at the level 6) that allows the simultaneouslyoperation of several telescopes and scientific instruments. It will form a firm base forfuture autonomous observatories. The software will allow to collect data with higherquality and will increase the observing efficiency by 20 – 30%. Therefore, the costsof very expensive missions could be reduced by up to 50%.This software will have a strong impact on many scientific projects including satellitemissions and huge ground-based surveys. It will be also very useful in other missionsrelated to sky surveillance, detecting tracking and imaging space debris, satellites, detecting near earth asteroids – one of the most important and challenging problemsfor the society. Finally, our product has a big potential to operate telescopes used forteaching students, outreach, and private persons. With our science-level softwaresuch observations could be done in a more “user friendly” and professional way. Therefore, it offers the unique opportunity for a wide group of citizens to participatein professional scientific projects creating a strong link between astronomers andsociety.
