European Precision-Guided Munitions

The central problem is not whether Europe possesses a precision-guided munitions industry, because it clearly does. The real question is whether that industrial base is sufficient, in scale and in structure, for the present demand environment created by the new Union procurement and industrial framework.

Europe has major producers, established missile families, and a recognisable technological base, yet the legal and programme architecture of the SAFE era indicates that missiles, guided munitions, and air and missile defence are being treated as urgent capability priorities.
