About this report
Vegvisir (Defensphere OÜ) is an Estonian deep-tech defense startup developing a mixed-reality situational awareness system for armoured vehicle crews. Its flagship technology, a “see-through armor” AR vision system, stitches together video feeds from vehicle-mounted cameras to give 360° real-time visibility of the battlefield .
This capability lets crews see through hull blind spots day or night (using visible and thermal sensors) and up to 10 kilometers away . The system includes an on-board mission computer and helmet-mounted display, and meets military ruggedness and NATO STANAG standards .
