QTI S.r.l. (Quantum Telecommunications Italy) is an Italian deep-tech spin-off from the National Research Council’s Institute of Optics (CNR-INO) founded in 2020 . Based in Florence (Largo Fermi 6) , QTI designs and manufactures industrial-grade Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) solutions (branded Quell-X ) for ultra-secure communications.
As Europe accelerates its EuroQCI quantum communication infrastructure, QTI has emerged as a pioneering commercial provider of quantum cryptography equipment. The company’s QKD systems have been deployed in experimental trials securing high-capacity network links in Europe (e.g. Italian G7 summit communications, EuroQCI pilot networks) .
