Eelume AS is a Norwegian deep-tech company specializing in innovative autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) designed for challenging subsea environments. Founded in 2015 as a spin-off from Norway’s NTNU and research institute SINTEF , Eelume has developed a distinctive “snake-like” robotic submarine capable of great maneuverability and endurance.
Its all-terrain AUVs can swim tetherless from a seabed docking station and navigate steep hillsides, complex infrastructure, and under-ice regions that are inaccessible to traditional remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) .
