Bcomp Ltd. is a Swiss deep-tech scale-up specializing in high-performance natural fibre composite materials. Founded in 2011 in Fribourg by EPFL materials science PhDs , the company’s mission is to “decarbonise the world through high-performance bio-based materials” . Its core technologies – ampliTex™ and powerRibs™ – harness flax fibres to create composites with stiffness and weight comparable to carbon-fibre parts .
