Ascendance Flight Technologies (headquartered in Toulouse, France) is a French deep‑tech aerospace startup specializing in hybrid‑electric propulsion systems and vertical take‑off and landing (VTOL) aircraft. Founded in 2018 by former Airbus E‑Fan engineers, the company has developed the STERNA modular hybrid propulsion pack and the ATEA five‑seat hybrid VTOL aircraft .
