Objective
Europe faces growing computational challenges that cannot be solved by classical computers, from drug discovery to materials science to cybersecurity. Quantum computing may address these challenges, but we must scale to millions of qubits while maintaining high performance - a goal that has eluded all current approaches.Groove Quantum has pioneered a revolutionary quantum computing platform using holes in germanium as qubits. Our breakthrough innovation combines the manufacturing scalability of classical semiconductors with quantum computational power. We have demonstrated world-leading performance including single-qubit fidelities exceeding 99.99%, two-qubit fidelities above 99.3%, and operation at higher temperatures than competing platforms. Most importantly, our technology has a path to scale to millions of qubits in a compact size using standard semiconductor manufacturing processes.We will complete development of our quantum computing platform for industrial deployment. We will optimize manufacturing processes for consistent high-performance qubits, implement these processes in semiconductor facilities, and begin commercial deployment through both cloud access and on-site systems. Our innovation will establish European leadership in quantum computing while strengthening semiconductor manufacturing capabilities and control of these strategic technologies.Groove’s success will transform multiple industries and provide Europe sovereign access to practical quantum computing capabilities critical for future competitiveness and security.
